Performance Tips

Running on older hardware or minimum specs? These settings have the most impact on performance.

01

Lower shadow quality first — shadows are the biggest GPU cost in physics-heavy scenes

02

Reduce draw distance if frame rate drops during complex crashes with many objects

03

Close background applications to free RAM — 16 GB minimum means headroom is limited

04

Workshop maps vary widely in performance impact; simpler community maps run better on older hardware

05

Steam Deck players: game is Verified — default settings are optimized for the Deck hardware

06

Webcam face tracking uses CPU — disable it if running on minimum spec hardware

System Requirements FAQ

Can my PC run Turbo Dismount 2?

If your PC runs Windows 10 64-bit, has a dual-core CPU at 2.5GHz or faster, 16GB RAM, and any DirectX 11 GPU (including older integrated graphics), you meet the minimum requirements. The game is only 1.05GB — most PCs from 2012 onward can run it.

Does Turbo Dismount 2 require a dedicated graphics card?

No. The minimum requirement is any DirectX 11 compatible GPU, which includes many integrated graphics chips. A dedicated GPU is recommended for better frame rates and visual quality, but not required.

Can I play Turbo Dismount 2 on Mac?

Not yet. macOS support is confirmed in the roadmap and planned for release after the PC Full Release (March 2026). There is no official release date for the Mac version.

Why does the minimum spec list 16GB RAM if the CPU is a Core 2 Duo?

This is an unusual spec combination — an older CPU but a relatively high RAM requirement. This reflects the Unity 6.3 LTS engine's memory usage for physics simulation. The CPU requirement is genuinely low, but RAM is non-negotiable.

How large is the Turbo Dismount 2 download?

The game installs at approximately 1.05 GB — very small by modern standards. Steam recommends keeping 4 GB free for the game itself, or 10 GB if you plan to use Workshop content and save replays.
